Through the Sacrament of Holy Orders, men are called and consecrated to serve the Church in a special way — as deacons, priests, or bishops. By the power of the Holy Spirit, they are configured to Christ the Servant, Teacher, and Shepherd, dedicating their lives to proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and guiding the people of God.
