At St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, we believe it’s important for children to experience God’s Word in a way they can understand and relate to. During Children’s Liturgy of the Word, children are invited to a special time of prayer and Scripture, where the Sunday readings are shared in language suited to their age.

This helps our young parishioners grow in faith, learn about God’s love, and begin to understand how Scripture applies to their lives — all while participating in the celebration of the Mass.

Children’s Liturgy is offered during select weekend Masses. All children are welcome to join!
