All Souls’ Day — Monday, November 2, 2026

St. John the Apostle invites you to observe All Souls’ Day, the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed.

11:00 AM Mass at St. George’s Cemetery, under the NEW pavilion. The names of parishioners who died this past year will be read aloud during Mass.

6:00–7:00 PM Holy Hour at St. John the Apostle, in loving memory of those who died this past year. Candles bearing their names will be handed out.

The names of those being remembered will also appear on a bulletin insert. Throughout November, a tree of remembrance will stand in the church Narthex — anyone may write a loved one’s name and place it on the tree.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
