Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

There is a long and proud tradition of faith that we enjoy here at St. John. We stand upon the shoulders of so many who have gone before us, and their witness to faith in Christ Jesus continues to inspire us.

Family is an important theme in scriptures. Marriage, after all, is the example used by God to symbolize the covenant He enters into with us. The love shared within a family is meant to imitate the love Christ has for the Church. Jesus Himself was born into a family, and thus God shows us its importance. Family is also an important part of this community. We make up one family of St. John Church, as a family we are called to share with one another the love of Chirst.

As we gather together to worship God in word and Sacrament, may the bonds that unite us to one another continue to grow and deepen. May the example and intercession of the Holy Family continue to make holy our family of St. John.
